Hygienic Conical Top (HCT) cyclone for high-volume dust removal

The Coperion Hygienic Conical Top (HCT) is a high-performance cyclone dust collector for sanitary applications in food, pet food, and beverage industries. It also handles heavy dust loads, including high-moisture and high-fat products. This makes it ideal for dryers, coolers, coating drums, centrifuge exhausts, and extruder airlift systems. Its strong construction ensures consistent performance in continuous production.

HCT cyclones are mounted on-edge to sanitary structures. However, they can also be customized for specific application needs. This means they are useful in large-scale operations where high-volume dust removal is important for product quality and safety.

In addition, Coperion offers other cyclone dust collectors, including high-efficiency and low-capacity HRT cyclones. These options meet different industrial and hygienic requirements.

HCT cyclones incorporate hygienic design features by minimizing internal and external horizontal surfaces where product or water can accumulate. Additionally, infinitely adjustable clamped connections replace bolted flanges, improving installation versatility while eliminating hard-to-clean external harborage points.

The top dome is tool-free and clamped, with a ferrule for cleaning the riser tube and draw-through area. The conical top has three ferrules to simplify cleaning the housing and hopper region. Internal wash-down is possible via the dome and cone top, with additional cleaning through the inlet and exhaust. These features help reduce downtime and ensure compliance with strict hygiene standards.
