They all offer lower capital costs and a lower footprint than traditional starch moulding systems while being significantly more hygienic and energy efficient. The batch systems are scalable if output needs to be increased and the moulds are easily changed if a different size or shape is required .

Ingredient handling
Bag dump stations provide a safe, dust-free way to manually add dry ingredients.
Liquid ingredients, such as glucose, are temporarily stored in our tank systems, or tote systems, and then delivered through pumps.
Slurry preparation
The main mixing process takes place in the Autofeed. Batches of dry and liquid ingredients are accurately weighed and blended then held in a reservoir tank to provide a continuous feed to the cooker. Full batch reporting is available.
Cooking
The cooking stage prepares syrup with precision and consistency, while accommodating various formulations, for small batches and high-output continuous production.
For high output and specialty recipes, the Microfilm™ cooker offers vacuum thin-film technology for rapid, gentle cooking of heat-sensitive ingredients.
Other options include the Turbofilm™ cooker, a compact unit combining syrup dissolving and cooking for high-output gummy lines, the Turbofilm™ mini cooker for small-scale continuous processing and the JellyCook™ batch cooker for small batch production or lab use.
All systems are designed for hygienic operation, consistent quality, and seamless integration with depositing equipment.
Colour, flavour and addition (CFA) system
Colours, flavours and active ingredients are added to the cooked syrup by the CFA system. This comprises an inline mixer and a precision doing pump for each component delivering consistent mixing, minimal waste and rapid product changeovers.
Depositing
This step shapes and forms gummies and chews by depositing into solid moulds for superior hygiene and product variety.
For small batch or lab-scale production lab we recommend to use the ServoForm™ mini.
The most versatile option is the ServoForm Flexi depositor which offers the greatest flexibility on product shape and size, recipe and setting time.
ServoForm™ depositors are designed for high-output fully automated production of quick-setting products such as pectin gummies or fat-based products.
Cooling tunnel
Cooling & finishing
The final step in gummy and chew production is cooling and finishing. The ServoForm depositor has an integrated continuous cooling tunnel and ejection system, while the Flexi and Mini use rack coolers.
For finishing, automatic coating drums apply sugar, oil or fibre coatings evenly and quickly. Precise spray control and recipe management help with rapid changeovers and control of pick-up. For batch coating, drum-type coaters are available.
