The Baker Perkins‘ TruClean™ laminator is a high-output machine designed to produce superior-quality laminated products efficiently. Its hygienic design, precise motion control, and flexible operation make it suitable for multi-purpose plants.

Built for precise dough lamination

The TruClean™ laminator gauges dough sheets to the required thickness and then cuts and lays them onto a continuously moving conveyor. The machine returns scrap dough to the sheeter, maintaining efficiency and reducing waste. Operators can emboss and cut laminated sheets before further processing, ensuring consistent quality and accurate weight control.

Production flexibility for laminated dough products

The combination laminator model directs dough either to the laminator or a bypass conveyor. Therefore, bakeries can produce a full range of laminated and sheeted products on a single line.

Additionally, the system incorporates dry ingredients between layers. Its fast-retraction layering carriage and low-deflection gauge rolls maintain uniform sheet quality and precise weight control, even at higher speeds.

Operational efficiency in dough laminating

Advanced motion-control technology allows operators to adjust velocity and position during production. Recipe-driven PLC control ensures fast setup and quick product changeovers. Consequently, bakeries reduce waste, improve consistency, and maximize line efficiency.

Optimized for hygiene and maintenance

TruClean™ design ensures all conveyors and decking are stainless steel, with motors, gearboxes, and drive components located outside the frame for easy cleaning and reduced maintenance. The compact layout also helps minimize floor space requirements.
