Coperion celebrates 250 Years of the U.S. Marine Corps

In November, Coperion’s Food, Health & Nutrition (FHN) Division proudly participated in the Marine Corps’ 250th Birthday Celebration held at the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City. This milestone event was marked by a special ceremony honoring the enduring legacy and service of the Marine Corps.
In partnership with the American Bakers Association, our team collaborated with Rocky Hill Cakes, a local bakery from Russellville, Missouri, to create a commemorative cake featuring the Marine Corps birthday logo, decorated in red and yellow, and topped with a meaningful Iwo Jima figurine provided by the local Marine veteran association. The cake served as a centerpiece of the celebration, symbolizing resilience and dedication.
The integration of baking, ironically, perfectly embodies the essence of our business. This event, deeply rooted in our core values and passion for baking, underscores the importance of tradition, craftsmanship, and dedication-principles that continue to inspire us every day.
We were especially honored to have Marine Corps veterans from our Missouri team-LaShawna Clayborn, Trent Schuman, and Logan Chevalier-attend the event. Their presence not only represented Coperion FHN but also paid tribute to their fellow service members and the values they uphold.
